Hi, I’m Melissa the face behind Salt + Sage Skin Studio. I’m a licensed esthetician with a background in surgical assisting and a genuine love for helping people feel confident in their own skin. I created Salt + Sage around a simple belief: taking care of your skin should feel just as good for your soul. I’m a North Carolina native, but for the past six years, home has looked a little different. My husband and I have traveled throughout the U.S. and internationally in our converted Skoolie, chasing new experiences, beautiful places, and plenty of water along the way. After years of adventure, we’re now putting down roots and calling Holden Beach, North Carolina, home. Outside of the treatment room, I’m happiest moving my body, getting my hands in the dirt, or spending time near the water. I love yoga, working out, gardening, whitewater rafting, traveling, and cooking good meals with my husband. And if you know me, you know how much I adore our pup, Whiskey, who is easily one of my favorite parts of life. All of those pieces of who I am the adventure, the slower moments, my love of nature, connection, wellness, and making people feel good are woven into Salt + Sage. My approach to esthetics blends personalized, results-driven skincare with genuine relaxation and care. I want you to feel comfortable enough to come as you are, slow down for a while, and leave feeling refreshed, confident, and a little more like yourself. Salt + Sage is more than a skincare studio to me. It’s a reflection of the life I love and the feeling I want to share with every person who walks through my door: warm, welcoming, a little wild, and good for the soul. Welcome to Salt + Sage.
